C.O.S.T. (Community Outreach & Social Team) C.O.S.T is the 'umbrella ministry launched by Carryduff Elim to use whatever means (the Apostle Paul said "to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." 1Co 9:22) necessary to reach out into the community that God has placed us to say God loves you and we are here to serve you! The means by which we achieve this are manifold and include the hugely successful 'MAY DAY EXTRAVAGANZA' were we literally invite thousands from the community through the doors for a day of fun, food, car boot sales, and much much more. The local business community and beyond support this with generous gifts which are auctioned and all the finance raised is ploughed back into the needy throughout the area via the STOREHOUSE ministry. We would also hold major 'BRIDGE' events these are high profile occasions were we bring perhaps famous Christians in entertainment or sport to come and share their testimony. Throughout the year via A.C.T the church's drama team we would put on at least one major dramatic production to invite the community to. Other events would include our healing ministry recognising the fact as a Pentecostal church God still heals and there are many sick and hurting in our community. Door to door track distribution and a ministry to the elderly taking the gospel to the nursing homes of our area.
